a gathering of snails takes place in a clearing surrounded by towering pines and glass dogs. nearby, a forlorn siren sings a song, flinging up bits of shell all around. the gentle expanse of late summer afternoons with ample time to let conversations drift off, leaving only a green haze...

enereph and Gianni Andreatta bring forth clamorseeking, a melding of two bodies of work over two years. Each track encloses a glittering microcosm of synesthetic sound, conjuring images of the Kitsap peninsula* shoreline or a piano player's performance captured with fuzzy fidelity through a looking glass found amid picnic detritus.

clamorseeking and snail friends were first shared at Emofest, an online get together of artists and musicians organized by Nate Large and friends in April 2021. It was through this gathering that enereph and Gianni Andreatta's musical sensibilities made contact, and thereafter began to come together. The tracks "snail friends reroot" and "clamorseeking turnabout" reflect the conscious sharing of ideas between the two artists, weaving their sound worlds into a shared realm of emotional and sensory sensitivity.

Immense gratitude is offered to Nate Large, who stewarded this release from 2021 to 2023 with loving attention and care, and who manually dubbed each cassette in multiple home studios.

The artists would also like to thank you, the listener, for stepping in to the clamorseeking world.
